He Kun, born in 1962 in Pu'er City, Yunnan Province, China, is a member of the China Artists Association, a committee member of the Printmaking Art Committee of the China Artists Association, a researcher at the China National Academy of Painting, a member and researcher of the Printmaking Professional Committee of the China Cultural and Artistic Development Promotion Association, a standing committee member of the Yunnan Provincial Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, the vice chairman of the Yunnan Provincial Artists Association, and an expert committee member of the Academic Guidance Committee of the China Original Printmaking Trading.

Ever since his first exhibition was held at Jinlong Daguan Gallery in Kunming in 1990, his solo art shows have taken place in many other galleries, such as at the Beijing Yiyuan International Art Gallery, Beijing International Trade Centre, the Guangzhou International Trade Centre, the Blunden Gallery in London, the Spike Island International Art Centre of Bristol, the Chapel Row Gallery in Bath and the St Barnabas Press Cambridge in England. Over 20 art exhibitions have been held in other places, such as at the ‘99’ Gallery in Germany, the Miaopu Gallery of Glascow in Scotland, the Arron Natural Museum, the Maderia National Gallery in Portugal. the Germany Centre of Beijing, the Shanhai Xingyun Gallery in Hangzhou. Since 1986, many of his works have entered national fine art exhibitions and national printing artworks exhibitions. They have also been in many exhibitions in many other countries and regions, such as Britain, Germany, Holland, France, Portugal, Spain, the USA, Canada, Brazil, Australia, Japan, Singapore, in the Mid-east, South Africa, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macao and so on. He joined in the world art form and the international exhibitions held in ‘Spike Island’ in 1998, in which artists from more than 60 countries also participated, Beijing---Fine Art Works Exhibition at “2008” International Olympic Art Conference, and London-- Fine Art Works Exhibition at “2012” International Olympic Art Conference.
